Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Veterinarian to join our HVHQSN team. as we expand our affordable spay / neuter/ vaccine clinic. We are looking for a 2-3 day a week Veterinarian to perform 25 surgeries per day. You must possess a DEA license of your own. We are looking to expand to 3-4 days pwr week. We currently are open 1 day and are seeking a vet to commit so we can hire full time prep tech team. we have a DEA license now but may transfer numbers to yours if the current vet feels necessary. The ideal candidate will have a strong passion for animal welfare and possess the necessary skills to provide HQHVSN for dogs and cats. As a Veterinarian, you will provide professional excellence in skills in performing spay / neuter surgeries and care related to the surgeries.
Duties
- Conduct thorough examinations of animals to assess their health and diagnose any medical conditions .
- Administer vaccinations and medications as needed.
- Perform surgical procedures, including spaying, neutering.
- Utilize veterinary terminology effectively while communicating with staff and pet owners.
- Maintain accurate medical records for all patients treated.
- Collaborate with veterinary technicians and support staff to ensure optimal patient care.
- Stay updated on advancements in veterinary medicine and participate in continuing education opportunities.
Experience
Candidates should possess the following skills and knowledge:
- Strong understanding of animal anatomy and physiology and HVHQSN
- Experience in veterinary critical care practices in an event of a spay and neuter emergency.
- Familiarity with laboratory procedures related to veterinary medicine.
- Comprehensive knowledge of pet care practices and veterinary terminology.
- Previous experience in HVHQSN setting is preferred but not mandatory.
