We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Motor Coach driver to join our team. Duties
- Safely operate motor coaches and other passenger vehicles, adhering to all traffic laws and regulations.
- Conduct pre-trip and post-trip inspections of the vehicle to ensure safety and mechanical integrity.
- Assist passengers with boarding and disembarking, providing support for those with special needs or mobility challenges.
- Maintain a clean and organized vehicle interior, ensuring a pleasant environment for passengers.
- Provide information about routes, schedules, and local attractions to enhance the travel experience.
- Address passenger inquiries or concerns promptly and professionally, demonstrating exceptional customer service skills.
- Collaborate with dispatchers to ensure timely departures and arrivals while managing any delays effectively.
Skills
- Strong customer service skills to interact positively with passengers of diverse backgrounds.
- Experience in paratransit services is a plus, enhancing the ability to assist individuals with disabilities.
- Valid commercial driving license (CDL) with passenger endorsement for bus driving is required.
- Previous experience as a motor coach operator is highly desirable.
- Mechanical knowledge to perform basic vehicle maintenance and troubleshooting as needed.
- Familiarity with school bus driving or limousine services can be beneficial for understanding passenger needs.
- Ability to navigate various routes efficiently while maintaining safety standards during shuttle driving operations.
