Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient office operations, and assisting with financial reporting. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
Duties
- Prepare and assist in the creation of financial reports, ensuring accuracy.
- Conduct account analysis and assist with account reconciliation processes.
- Perform bank reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation tasks.
- Utilize accounting software to maintain accurate financial records.
- Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Maintain organized files and documentation related to financial transactions.
- Prepare client payroll and payroll reports.
- Prepare client sales tax reports.
Experience
- Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a financial or accounting department.
- Familiarity with financial concepts and terminology is essential.
- Proficient in using accounting software, particularly QuickBooks, along with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
- Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail-oriented tasks such as account analysis and reconciliation.
- Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour
Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week
