Job Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Bookkeeper/Administrative Assistant. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in maintaining efficient office operations, and assisting with financial reporting. This position requires strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.

Duties

  • Prepare and assist in the creation of financial reports, ensuring accuracy.
  • Conduct account analysis and assist with account reconciliation processes.
  • Perform bank reconciliation and balance sheet reconciliation tasks.
  • Utilize accounting software to maintain accurate financial records.
  • Collaborate with team members to streamline administrative processes and improve operational efficiency.
  • Maintain organized files and documentation related to financial transactions.
  • Prepare client payroll and payroll reports.
  • Prepare client sales tax reports.

Experience

  • Proven experience in an administrative role, preferably within a financial or accounting department.
  • Familiarity with financial concepts and terminology is essential.
  • Proficient in using accounting software, particularly QuickBooks, along with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word).
  • Strong analytical skills with a focus on detail-oriented tasks such as account analysis and reconciliation.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal, to effectively collaborate with team members and clients.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time

Pay: $17.00 - $19.00 per hour

Expected hours: 30 – 40 per week

Benefits:

  • Paid sick time

Schedule:

  • Monday to Friday

Supplemental Pay:

  • Overtime pay

Work Location: In person
