What are the responsibilities and job description for the HVAC Service Technician position at A to Z Drain Service?
Description
We are looking for highly technical, professional, residential service technicians who like to help people and can sell service.
What you will do:
- Installing, maintaining and repairing ventilation and air conditioning systems and equipment.
- Identifying maintenance risks on equipment. Diagnosing electrical and mechanical faults for HVAC systems.
- Cleaning, adjusting and repairing systems, and performing warranty services
- Handle service calls to customers in their homes and utilizes customer service training to educate and assist customers in choosing service, products and finance options.
- Work with inspectors, suppliers and co-workers to ensure correct project work, while abiding by all codes.
Requirements
What we are looking for:
- Critical-thinker, problem-solver
- Physical ability to be able to bend, squat, climb stairs/ladders and lift over 50 lbs
- Must be able to perform tasks that may require ability to work in a variety of environmental conditions, including but not limited to the following: hot, cold, outdoor, indoor, dry, humid, slippery surfaces.
- Clean driving record.
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- 2 years experience in HVAC Service
