Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Medical Technician/ Caregiver to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing high-quality patient care in long term , memory care facility. This position requires a strong commitment to patient well-being, adherence to HIPAA regulations, and the ability to work reliably and collaboratively with healthcare professionals to ensure optimal care for resident.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care, including bathing, dressing, meal prep, laundry, as well as ensuring comfort and safety and companionship for the residents.
- Assist with hospice care and senior care services, focusing on the emotional and physical needs of residents.
- Maintain accurate medical records and documentation in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
- Support residents in daily living activities while promoting independence and dignity.
- Conduct routine health assessments and monitor vital signs as needed.
- Educate residents and families about health management, treatment plans, and available resources.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of medical equipment and supplies, community and private living quarters,
Requirements
- Proven experience in patient care, preferably in assisted living or home care settings.
- Strong understanding of HIPAA regulations to maintain patient confidentiality.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Compassionate demeanor with a strong commitment to providing quality care.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare TEAM.
- Certification or training in relevant medical fields is preferred but not mandatory.
