Caregiver

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated Caregivers to provide essential support and assistance to individuals in need. As a Caregiver, you will play a crucial role in enhancing the quality of life for your clients by delivering personalized care and companionship. This position requires a commitment to maintaining the dignity and respect of those you serve while ensuring their safety and well-being.

Duties

• Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
• Monitor and record vital signs as needed to ensure health stability.
• Prepare nutritious meals according to care plans and dietary restrictions.
• Develop and follow individualized care plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to protect client confidentiality.
• Provide companionship and emotional support, engaging clients in social activities.
• Assist with hospice care as required, ensuring comfort during end-of-life stages.
• Perform light housekeeping duties to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
• Support clients with mobility challenges, including heavy lifting when necessary.
• Administer CPR or first aid in emergencies, ensuring immediate response to health issues.

Requirements

• Previous experience in caregiving or related fields is preferred but not mandatory.
• Knowledge of vital signs monitoring, meal preparation, and care planning is advantageous.
• Familiarity with HIPAA regulations is essential for maintaining client privacy.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting and assist clients with mobility challenges.
• Strong communication skills and a compassionate demeanor are crucial for building trust with clients.
• Certification in CPR or first aid is highly desirable.
• A valid driver's license may be required depending on client needs.

Pay: $16.00 - $17.50 per hour
