About A Tutoring:
Since 2010, A Tutoring has helped learners succeed through personalized academic support. We specialize in one-on-one and small-group online tutoring across a wide range of subjects and support students from diverse educational backgrounds, including homeschool and traditional school environments.
Role Overview:
We are looking for math-minded educators and STEM professionals to join our growing team. Ideal candidates are confident in teaching subjects such as Algebra, Geometry, Trigonometry, Pre-Calc/Math Analysis, Calculus, Chemistry, Physics, Statistics, and Environmental Science. Experience preparing students for AP exams is a plus.
Tutors will work with learners one-on-one or in small groups (up to 5) to build skills, reinforce concepts, and support academic growth. All instruction is conducted online using our virtual learning tools.
Responsibilities:
- Provide clear, engaging instruction in middle and high school math and/or science subjects.
- Adapt sessions based on each learner’s needs, goals, and curriculum.
- Submit detailed, professional lesson notes after each session to track student progress.
- Communicate effectively with families and support team as needed.
- Deliver both one-on-one and small-group tutoring, depending on enrollment.
What We’re Looking For:
- Subject expertise in any of the following:
Algebra I & II, Geometry, Trigonometry, Math Analysis, Calculus, Statistics, Physics (1 & 2), Chemistry, Environmental Science
- Bachelor’s degree in a STEM field or Education (required); teaching credential (preferred but not required).
- Experience preparing students for AP-level coursework and exams (preferred).
- 1 year of teaching or tutoring experience (online preferred).
- Strong written and verbal communication skills.
- Dependable, self-motivated, and comfortable working independently.
- Access to reliable internet, webcam, and computer setup for virtual instruction.

Job Type: Contract
Pay: $23.00 - $30.00 per hour
