Job description:
We are looking to add talented, highly qualified Special Education Tutor to our team! This is an in-person tutoring position located in Volusia County, Florida. Tutors must be passionate about seeing our students succeed and have the following qualification(s):
- Holds a valid Florida Teacher's Certificate, or is eligible for one, required.
- Teaching/tutoring experience required.
- Certification/experience in teaching students with diverse exceptionalities required.
- iReady experience a plus!
Our A Tutors are expected to:
- Facilitate a positive and friendly environment for learning.
- Be highly knowledgeable in your subject area(s).
- Maintain clear communication with students and parents.
- Arrive to all tutoring sessions on time and prepared.
- Prepare lesson plans and quarterly progress reports.
- Keep accurate records and adhere to deadlines.
