Responsibilities
- Perform haircuts, shaves, and grooming services tailored to client preferences.
- Provide expert advice on hair care and styling options.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the work area and tools.
- Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and preferences.
- Upsell additional services and retail products to enhance client experience.
- Assist with front desk duties, including scheduling appointments and managing client records.
- Stay updated on the latest trends in barbering, hair styling, and grooming techniques.
- Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in barbering or hairstyling is required.
- Strong skills in hair styling techniques, including hair threading and nail care.
- Ability to perform retail math for effective sales transactions.
- Excellent communication skills to engage with clients effectively.
- Experience in retail sales is a plus, with an emphasis on upselling services and products.
- Knowledge of makeup application is a nice-to-have skill but not mandatory.
- A valid barbering license or certification as required by state regulations.

Pay: $35.00 - $50.00 per hour
