Experienced Kitchen Cook – A&W
A&W is looking for an experienced kitchen cook to join our team.
This is a fast-paced, high-volume environment, and we need someone with commercial kitchen experience who can handle all aspects of food preparation, cooking, and cleaning.
Job Responsibilities:
-Operate fryers, grills, and sandwich stations efficiently and accurately. Prepare, assemble, and package food items to A&W standards.
-Follow all food safety and sanitation guidelines to maintain a clean and safe kitchen.
-Handle high-volume service during peak hours while maintaining quality and speed.
-Stock and rotate ingredients to ensure freshness and minimize waste.Assist with cleaning, dishwashing, and general kitchen maintenance.
-Work as part of a team and communicate effectively with coworkers and management.
-Follow proper procedures for handling inventory, and food storage if needed.
Requirements:
-Experience: Commercial kitchen or fast food experience required (must be familiar with fryers, grills, and sandwich assembly).
-Physical Demands: Ability to stand for up to 8 hours and lift up to 50 lbs.
-Work Environment: Comfortable working in a fast-paced, high-pressure setting.
-Reliability & Flexibility: Must be reliable and flexible, punctual, dependable, able to work as a team and adaptable to changing schedules.
-Cleaning & Maintenance: Willing to take on cleaning duties, including dishwashing.
-Availability: Full-time availability required, including weekends and holidays.
-Skills: Strong attention to accuracy, food safety, and customer satisfaction.
-Pay & Benefits: Starting Pay: $14/hr (negotiable based on experience).
