Responsibilities : Assist healthcare providers in delivering patient care services in a supportive and non-judgmental environment.Prepare examination rooms and ensure they are properly stocked with necessary supplies and equipment.Obtain and record vital signs, medical history, and other relevant patient information.Provide emotional support and reassurance to patients throughout their visit.Assist with various procedures, including but not limited to abortion procedures, contraception counseling, and pregnancy testing.Perform laboratory tests and handle specimens as required.Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records and documentation.Follow infection control protocols and maintain a clean and organized clinical environment.Adhere to all relevant legal, ethical, and professional standards. Qualifications : High school diploma or GED equivalent.Completion of an accredited Medical Assistant program is preferred.Previous experience in a clinical or healthcare setting is highly desirable.Knowledge of reproductive health, family planning, and abortion services is a plus.Strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals.Demonstrated ability to maintain patient confidentiality and privacy.Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to work well in a fast-paced and sometimes emotionally challenging environment.Flexibility to adapt to changing clinic needs and schedules.Current CPR certification (or willingness to obtain).
