QUALIFICATIONS:
- Be a committed Christian who demonstrates a personal relationship with Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord and regularly attends a biblically based church
- Exhibit strong commitment and dedication to the pro-life position and sexual purity
- Agree with and be willing to uphold AWC’s Core Values, Statement of Faith, and Policies and Procedures
- Dependable and committed to the pregnancy center ministry
- At least a Bachelor's degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing, or related field is preferred
- A minimum of two years’ experience in communications, marketing, or related field
- Knowledge of digital marketing tactics, including social media and email marketing
- Highly computer literate with capability in Microsoft Office Suite, Canva, CRMs (Experience with DonorView, a plus) and other related business and communication tools
- Success in creating designs for marketing materials
- Strong writing skills
- Proficient in public speaking to share about the ministry of A Woman’s Choice in partnering churches and our local community
- Be visionary, developing new ways to promote the ministry
- Highly self-motivated, able to learn new skills, and carry out responsibilities independently, with little or no supervision
- Possess excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to work well under pressure
- Be detailed and deadline-oriented
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
SOCIAL MEDIA:
- Manage all social media accounts of AWC while ensuring the content shared increases our visibility and reach
- Create and share content to communicate on social platforms like Facebook, Instagram, YouTube, and more, reaching both supporter and client audiences, each on their respective accounts
- Tell the story of the AWC mission and impact to bring value to those who support the ministry, while keeping the AWC “brand” fluid throughout
- Highlight AWC events and significant pro-life happenings through social media channels
- Communicate the services of AWC and related content to reach women who could be potential clients
- Grow existing presence across all social media platforms
DIGITAL/PRINT MEDIA
- Along with the DD, design, implement, and execute digital fundraising and marketing campaigns for donor development
- Evaluate the results of these campaigns with the Development team
- Build, maintain, and grow various digital distribution platforms, including weekly ministry update emails and monthly Life GEM Gazette email
- Monitor donor website to suggest and/or execute content updates and bring to light operational deficiencies
- Provide church updates quarterly
- Update Event page as needed, including Walk In Her Shoes and Walk for Life
- Manage quarterly newsletters:
- Brainstorm content ideas with DD
- Communicate with the graphic designer and printer
- Work with key staff to write and compile articles
- Ensure completion of each newsletter, including printing, mailing, uploading to Support AWC website, and emailing to recipients.
- Manage newsletter recipient listings in DonorView, our donor database
MARKETING
- Develop donor-facing marketing efforts and materials
- Stay up to date on cultural climate in target audience demographics
- Develop patient-facing marketing efforts and materials as needed
- Donor and client marketing coordination with marketing team
- Send monthly AWC stats report to marketing team
- Receive and study monthly marketing reports from marketing team
- Attend monthly marketing meeting with Executive Director
- Update monthly the Mobile Medical Unit calendar on Google Maps
EVENTS
- Assist DD in planning and implementing fundraising events as needed
- Work with DA and/or the Patient Services Director to investigate and arrange opportunities for AWC to participate in events in the community that are client and/or donor-facing to increase awareness of our impact and services
- Take lead on planning and executing community-facing informational events as needed
CHURCH RELATIONSHIPS
- Provide churches with ministry updates quarterly and/or upon request
- Send out specific emails to churches if needed
- Connect with Men’s Coach & DD to plan Pastor Appreciation events/gifts, Pastor meetings, etc.
- Speak at church events when needed and if available
- Attend church missions’ conferences when needed and if available
OTHER
- Accept assignments not specifically delineated above as requested by the ED/DD
SCHEDULE
- Monday – Friday, 8:30 am – 4:30pm
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $38,000.00 - $40,000.00 per year
