We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Trailer Technician to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for the maintenance, repair, and alignment of tractor-trailer units. Duties
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on tractor-trailer units, ensuring compliance with safety standards.
- Diagnose issues related to mechanical and electrical systems, utilizing your knowledge of equipment repair.
- Align trailer components to manufacturer specifications for optimal performance.
- Maintain accurate records of repairs and maintenance performed on each unit.
- Provide exceptional customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their trailer needs.
- Utilize cranes and other equipment safely during repair processes.
- Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot complex issues and implement effective solutions.
Qualifications
- Proven experience in vehicle maintenance, specifically with tractor-trailer units.
- Strong mechanical knowledge with the ability to work on electrical systems.
- Familiarity with schematics and technical drawings related to trailer repair.
- Excellent problem-solving skills with a focus on detail-oriented work.
- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Prior experience in customer service is preferred but not required.
- A valid driver's license is necessary; additional certifications related to equipment repair are a plus.
