Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Heavy Equipment Operator to join our team at A/Z. As a key member of our construction crew, you will be responsible for safely operating heavy equipment to move materials, earth, and other heavy materials at construction sites.
Key Responsibilities
- Operate a variety of heavy equipment, including bulldozers, trench excavators, and skid-steer loaders.
- Assist in preparing land for construction by clearing and grading sites.
- Use equipment to dig and excavate materials, such as sand, gravel, and earth.
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs on equipment to ensure optimal performance.
- Work closely with crew members to coordinate machine actions and ensure efficient project progress.
Requirements
- 5 years of field experience in heavy equipment operation.
- Trade school or apprenticeship in a related field.
- Excellent documentation and record-keeping skills.
- Ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Strict adherence to safety rules and quality standards.
Physical Demands
This position requires the ability to perform tasks in all aspects of construction sites, including climbing ladders and crawling as needed. You must also be able to lift and manipulate objects of up to 50lbs.
Work will be performed in various environments, including Aseptic and non-Aseptic Areas and Non GMP Areas.
