What are the responsibilities and job description for the Customer Service Representative- FULL TIME ON SITE position at A1- Affordable Construction?
A-1 Affordable Construction is a well established and reputable chimney, roofing, gutter, and masonry company serving all areas of New Jersey, parts of PA & NY. We are seeking two qualified candidates (one part time and one full time) that are able to perform well in a fast paced environment while remaining confident and professional. Our Customer Service department is responsible for answering all incoming calls, obtaining specific information by asking targeted questions, setting up appointments and inputting data in customers record. These team members are highly valued and have a very important role at A-1 Affordable as they act as the initial point of contact for potential customers and accounts.
This is an in-person, full- time position or part- time position. Salary range is $31,200 - $40,500 annually, commensurate with experience. Applicants must be available to work Mondays- Fridays either 7:30am - 5:00pm or 10am - 7pm and alternating Saturdays from 7:30am - 4pm. There is an opportunity for over time.

Essential Job Functions
- Takes pride in their work- arrives on time and focuses on executing well during their shift
- Established interest in advanced customer service with strong scheduling abilities
- Work directly with clients and accounts to effectively and professionally manage their needs and preferences
- Obtain and process all client information and set appointments in our database
- Exhibit expert knowledge regarding the products and services offered (training is provided and ongoing)
- Qualify incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate department
- Proactively work with our large customer database to initiate appointments
- Perform basic administrative and clerical duties as necessary
Requirements
- Good energy needed for fast paced environment
- Previous experience in customer service, call center, sales or similar role/environment
- Excellent attention to detail, communication skills, computer proficiency
- Ability to prioritize while multitasking
- Available to work alternating Saturdays
