Overview: We are seeking an experienced Auto Body Technician to join our team. As an Auto Body Technician, you will be responsible for repairing and restoring damaged vehicles to their original condition. This is a hands-on role that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. Responsibilities: - Perform automotive repair and restoration tasks, including but not limited to: - Fabricating and welding metal components - Soldering and brazing - Repairing and replacing damaged parts - Straightening and aligning vehicle frames - Removing dents and scratches - Preparing surfaces for painting - Applying paint using airless paint spraying equipment - Assembling and disassembling vehicle components - Conduct thorough inspections of vehicles to identify all necessary repairs - Utilize hand tools and power tools to complete repair tasks - Collaborate with other technicians and team members to ensure efficient workflow - Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean work environment Skills: - Strong knowledge of automotive repair techniques and procedures - Proficiency in fabricating, soldering, welding, and sheet metal work - Experience with airless paint spraying equipment - Ability to read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams - Detail-oriented with excellent problem-solving skills - Strong mechanical aptitude and understanding of vehicle maintenance principles Note: This job description is not intended to be all-inclusive.
