What are the responsibilities and job description for the Facilities Coordinator position at A1 Garage Door Service?
As a Facilities Coordinator with A1, you will help ensure that all A1’s facilities are best-in-class and standardized across all locations. You will be responsible for the overall repair and maintenance of facility needs and operates as the main point of contact for maintenance and repair requests. You will play a vital role in ensuring the ongoing operations of A1 locations and that the workplace is functional and to the business’s needs.
The Job:
Plan and coordinate all installations and deinstallations (utilities, trash, cleaning, telecommunications, etc.)
Build out new warehouse or GMB locations
Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and suppliers for timely project and task completion
Manage vendor relationships and source necessary vendors
Work with the Safety Manager to ensure compliance with all safety, health, and environmental regulations
Act as the first point of contact for all incoming inquiries and requests for facilities
Manage and resolve work requests
Track and schedule routine maintenance on facilities and making repairs as needed
Work with internal stakeholders to build a standard build for all A1 locations
Coordinate and oversee the opening and closing of new facilities
Review lease agreements to review terms and conditions relating to maintenance and repairs on units
Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned
Basic Requirements:
Completed HS Diploma or GED; Bachelor's degree preferred
Minimum 1 year of applicable experience in facilities
Knowledge of HVAC and electrical systems
Experience interpreting and reading lease agreements
Exceptional interpersonal, project management, and organizational skills.
Strong problem-solving and analytical skills
Ability to communicate effectively across various organizational levels both internally and externally
Proficient in using relevant information systems and MS Office products
Self-motivated, proactive, and confident in mitigating potential issues
Ability to work in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment, and face paced environment

Compensation Range: $60K - $70K
