Senior Supply Chain Specialist
As a Senior Supply Chain Specialist, you will support the purchasing and inventory management for multiple A1 warehouse locations and their respective vehicles within the ServiceTitan system. Extensive knowledge of the purchasing processes in an A1 environment is crucial. This role is responsible for ensuring the timely delivery of goods and services to meet operational needs. It requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual to support smooth operations across inventory and purchasing activities, while consistently aligning with and exceeding expectations in all areas of A1 Core Values.
Duties / Responsibilities :
Assisting with the creation of initial vehicle replenishment templates for new hires upon graduation.
Managing non-inventory parts requirements for warehouses, installers, and technicians.
Collaborating with suppliers to secure competitive pricing and meet business requirements.
Supporting the coordination and management of the Parts Special Order (PSO) program.
Building relationships with suppliers to identify opportunities for multi-sourcing items.
Assisting in the logistics of purchase orders (POs) to ensure timely delivery and that POs are received to prevent delays in payment.
Working with the Accounts Payable (AP) team to address any discrepancies related to POs and receipts.
Communicating with technicians, installers, and area managers to ensure POs are received promptly, preventing delays in supplier payments.
Additional duties as needed and assigned.
Collaborate effectively with the warehouse, door, and dispatch teams to ensure timely ordering and receipt of items to meet customer demand.
Identify, address, and improve gaps in inventory management processes.
Required Skills / Abilities :
Proven track record of continuous improvement within the purchasing and inventory management functions.
Proficiency and in-depth understanding in the current ERP system (ServiceTitan); Including job booking, identifying discrepancies, ensuring purchase order accuracy, and providing follow-through.
Work closely with the Accounts Payable (AP) team to resolve discrepancies in invoicing, specifically related to POs and receipts.
Proficient in identifying, processing, and ordering advanced garage door repair parts.
In-depth knowledge of the PSO Hotline, workflow, and job management processes.
Strong understanding of PSO workflows, including placing jobs on hold and ensuring repairs are completed.
Ability to generate and interpret relevant reports for job and purchase order status.
Education and Experience :
High school diploma or equivalent.
A minimum of one year of service as a Supply Chain Specialist or equivalent, preferred but not required.
Advanced computer skills, particularly within the Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
Physical Requirements :
Prolonged periods of sitting and working on a computer.
Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.
Able to bend, climb, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time.
Must be able to work after hours, over weekends, and on public holidays with short notice.
Be able to drive a company vehicle and possess a valid driver’s license with a good driving record.
Capable of handling inbound customer escalation calls related to PSO.
Strong business acumen with the ability to source multiple quotes for parts related to repairs.
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to interact effectively at all levels of the organization.

Compensation Range : $55K - $65K
Salary : $55,000 - $65,000
