Duties

- Implement behavior management techniques to promote positive interactions and support resident rights.
- Provide direct support in daily activities, ensuring safety and comfort for all individuals.
- Maintain a clean and organized living space within the personal care home or group home setting.
- Drive residents to appointments or community activities as needed.
- Document care provided and report any changes in residents' conditions to appropriate staff members.
- Foster social engagement through activities that promote interaction among residents.
Qualifications
- Experience in caregiving or direct support roles is preferred, particularly in personal care homes or group homes.
- Knowledge of behavior management strategies and resident rights is highly desirable.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to connect with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Ability to prepare meals that meet dietary restrictions and preferences.
- Must possess a valid driver's license for transportation purposes.
- A background in social work or related fields is a plus but not required.
- Must be patient, empathetic, and able to work effectively with individuals with developmental disabilities.
