Responsibilities
- Assist clients with daily living activities, including personal hygiene, grooming, and dressing.
- Prepare nutritious meals according to dietary requirements and preferences.
- Provide transportation for clients as needed, ensuring their safety while driving.
- Support clients in engaging in social activities and maintaining their independence.
- Monitor and document vital signs as required, reporting any changes to healthcare professionals.
- Uphold resident rights and ensure dignity and respect in all interactions.
- Assist clients with mobility needs, including lifting or transferring when necessary.
- Collaborate with social workers and other healthcare professionals to provide comprehensive care.
Requirements
- Previous experience in personal care or a related field is preferred but not mandatory.
- Knowledge of memory care practices and working with individuals with developmental disabilities is a plus.
- Ability to prepare meals that cater to specific dietary needs.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with clients.
- Compassionate demeanor with a genuine desire to help others.
- Ability to lift and assist clients as needed while ensuring their safety.
- Familiarity with monitoring vital signs is beneficial but can be learned on the job.

- Rotating weekends
