We are seeking candidates with a minimum of 2 years of professional, hands-on experience in repairing and maintaining small engines. This experience must come from working in the Outdoor Power Equipment environment. Applicants need to have a proven track record in small engine repair within a commercial setting.

Responsibilities:

1. Diagnosis and Repair:

Conduct thorough diagnostics to identify issues with small engines.

Perform necessary repairs on components such as carburetors, ignition systems, and fuel systems.

Troubleshoot and resolve electrical and mechanical problems.

2. Routine Maintenance:

Conduct routine maintenance tasks on outdoor power equipment.

Change oil, replace filters, and inspect spark plugs.

Perform scheduled maintenance based on manufacturer guidelines.

3. Customer Interaction:

Communicate with customers to gather information about equipment issues.

Provide clear explanations of diagnoses, repairs, and maintenance needs.

Address customer inquiries and concerns professionally.

4. Documentation:

Maintain accurate records of repairs, parts used, and services provided.

Create detailed service reports for each job.

5. Quality Assurance:

Ensure that all repairs meet quality standards.

Test equipment after repairs to verify proper functioning.

Conduct final inspections to guarantee customer satisfaction.

6. Stay Informed:

Keep abreast of industry developments, new technologies, and advancements in small engine systems.

Attend training sessions and workshops to enhance technical skills.

7. Safety Compliance:

Adhere to safety protocols and guidelines when working with tools and equipment.

Maintain a clean and organized workspace to prevent accidents.

Small Engine: 2 years (Required)
