Structural Designer

A1 Personnel are working with a growing engineering consultancy that delivers a wide range of structural engineering solutions, from high-rise and low-rise concrete designs to facade restoration and specialized construction projects. With over 30 years of industry experience, my client is dedicated to quality design and innovation, utilizing the latest advances in software technology.

What You’ll Do

Design & Analysis:

• Contribute to a variety of projects, including high-rise, low-rise, and facade restoration work.
• Apply your concrete design expertise to ensure the safety and integrity of structures.

Software Proficiency:

• Utilize essential software tools such as SAFE and ETABS for structural analysis and design.
• Additionally, the team employs advanced analysis software like RAM-Steel, STAAD3, and Visual Analysis, alongside manual calculation methods.

Project Support & R&D:

• Work in a fast-paced environment managing both new and ongoing projects with tight deadlines.
• Occasionally support research and development initiatives for specialized construction, including model development, software innovation, and training for industry professionals.

What We're Looking For

Concrete Design Expertise:

• At least 5 years of experience in the structural design of concrete structures for various building types (low-, mid-, and high-rise) is essential. NYC design experience is essential.

Technical Skills:

• Mastery of SAFE and ETABS is essential.
• Familiarity with additional analysis software like RAM-Steel, STAAD3, and Visual Analysis is a plus.

Professional Background:

• While a PE license is not required, strong design skills and a hands-on approach are essential.
• Team Collaboration:
• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team of experienced engineers.
