What are the responsibilities and job description for the Rental Yard Associate position at A1 Rent It?
As a Rental Yard/Warehouse associate at A1 Rent It you will be the person primarily responsible for our customers' successful equipment rental. You will teach customers how to operate and use our equipment, assist with loading/unloading equipment, and perform light maintenance on our equipment. From each of our three store locations, we aim to provide quality rental equipment at competitive prices to homeowners and small contractors in the Twin Cities metro.
Ideal applicants will have a passion for tools and equipment, strong interpersonal skills, and a desire to help customers by leveraging our inventory and your expertise!
Ongoing customer service responsibilities:
1. Assist customers with loading/unloading of equipment
2. Communicate with staff regarding incoming/outgoing equipment
3. Instruct customers on proper use of equipment
Ongoing yard/warehouse responsibilities:
1. Wash/clean equipment after each rental
2. Refuel equipment after each rental
3. Test equipment operation & function to ensure proper operation
4. Restock equipment after each rental
5. Perform light maintenance on equipment
6. Maintain a clean work area
Valid Driver's License
Must be at least 18 years old
Capable of lifting 75 lbs.
Available to work weekdays & weekends
