What are the responsibilities and job description for the Cheer/Tumbling Coach position at A1 Spirit Athletics?
Qualifications
- Knowledge, Skills, and/of Abilities for the sport
- Some or more experience as a competitive coach or cheerleading coach
- Must have effective coaching technique and skill
- Must posses the knowledge of rules and regulations of the USASF guidelines
Responsibilities
- Work with team members during practice and competitions
- Assess skills and assign team positioning
- Work with other coaches in scheduling for practice and meet times for competitions
- Coach and instruct athletes, individually or in groups, regarding the rules and regulations for equipment use
- Observe athletes, during events and practice to determine the needs for the individual or team improvement
- Establish and maintain, proper supervision at all times
- Follow establishes procedures in event of an injury
- Act as a team representative and promote the gym by communicating with the news media, booster clubs, or any other organization or event
- Model sportsmanship behavior and maintain appropriate conduct towards athletes, judges, and spectators
- Help organize meetings for team prospects
- Attend any coaches workshops, clinics, and other professional activities to improve coaching performance
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $10.00 - $17.00 per hour
Expected hours: 4 – 8 per week
