We are looking for Field Service Engineer (all genders) for our team!
Tasks:
- Consulting and support for all European customers regarding the entire product range of A123 Systems in the high-voltage and low-voltage range
- Installation and commissioning of the products at our customers' sites
- Technical support on the phone and at the customer's site
- Carrying out analyses and determining the cause of defects in accordance with IATF and VDA standards
- Documentation of all detected fault diagnoses
- Monitoring and ensuring activities in the analytical laboratory according to 5s.
- Coordination of field activities
- Interface between customer and internal department e.g. engineering for the purpose of product improvements and warranty monitoring
- Participation in internal and external trainings
Requirements:
- Completed training as a master car mechanic or technician
- At least 5 years of active work experience
- Good knowledge of vehicle electrics, electronics, and systems networking
- Initial experience with electric and hybrid vehicles
- High voltage technician level 2 training desirable
- Ability to identify customer needs
- Strong communication and presentation skills
- Must be a creative thinker who takes full responsibility
- Must be a team player who thrives in a start-up culture with minimal or evolving policies and procedures
- Must be outwardly enthusiastic and self-motivated
- Excellent English language skills, fluency in German a plus
- Driving license class B
- Willingness to travel within Europe approx. 50%, 50% in Stuttgart laboratory
