We are seeking a talented Full Stack Web Developer who will design, develop, and maintain web-based applications supporting both internal and external initiatives for the Crypto team. This is a great opportunity for someone who is passionate about building products end-to-end and is excited to work cross-functionally on multiple concurrent projects.
The preferred location for this role is the San Francisco Bay Area or New York City. We will consider remote locations. The role may require in-office presence from time to time.
ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop full stack web applications, both internal and external facingDevelop and integrate data visualization software to present complex information in a clear and intuitive wayHelp maintain internal databases and data pipelinesCollaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements, propose solutions, and implement featuresEnsure the scalability, security, and performance of various productsContribute to the creation and maintenance of technical documentationStay updated with the latest trends and advancements in web development and related technologiesTo join our team, you should be excited to : Build scalable, data-oriented web applicationsWork on the frontend, backend, and database layers of the product stackCollaborate with a diverse team to bring projects from concept to completionContinuously learn and implement new tools, frameworks, and technologiesTake ownership of your work and ensure the quality of your deliverablesMinimum Qualifications5 years of experience as a full stack web developer, with proficiency in Typescript, React, Python, and SQLExperience with data visualization libraries and tools (e.g., D3.js)Strong understanding of modern web technologies and cloud-based infrastructureDemonstrated ability to work effectively in a collaborative, fast-paced environmentOrganized and detail-oriented with strong problem-solving skillsExcellent communication skills and the ability to work with all levels within the organizationExperience in the crypto industry is a plus but not requiredLow ego, high empathy, and the capacity to collaborate effectively with diverse teamsThe anticipated salary range for this role is between $225,000 - $250,000, actual starting pay may vary based on a range of factors which can include experience, skills, and scope.
This role is eligible to participate in the a16z Carry program and various discretionary bonus programs as well as benefit and perquisite plans including health, dental, vision, disability, life insurance, 401K plan, vacation, and sick leave.
