Inventory Clerk

a2b Fulfillment is a fast-growing, third-party provider of distribution support services, including Order Fulfillment, Contact Center Solutions, and a vast array of Value-Added services. We are currently recruiting for the position of Inventory Clerk for our Hanover Township location.

THE ROLE

The Inventory Clerk is responsible for working in all warehouse areas and supporting the warehouse leadership team in meeting a 99% inventory accuracy goal. The inventory Clerk’s responsibilities include moving parts, auditing inventory, and counting locations and SKU’s. Tasks will include forklift operation, moving of parts, and verifying locations and counts.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Support the operation by overseeing daily cycle counts, audits, and reconciliation of discrepancies
• Communicate discrepancies found to management
• Provide solutions and support for solving discrepancies
• Comply effectively with company work and safety rules
• Continually meet assigned cycle count standards
• Maintain a quality of work that limits miss-counts
• Train and able to be certified to operate any required equipment
• Move product and inventory using various warehouse equipment
• Execute and document inspections per SOP
• Other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Warehouse experience (preferred)
• Inventory and/or receiving experience (preferred)
• Understand and follow basic verbal and written instructions
• Basic computer knowledge
• Possess basic mathematical skills: addition, subtraction, multiplication, and division
• Able to stand, sit, kneel, bend for extended amount of time
• Work at a quick pace
• Must have ability to lift or move at least 40lbs
• Must be able to work independently and as a team
• Self-directed and self-motivated
• Comply with company attendance policies
• Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition and follow prescribed safety regulations
• Be at least 18 years old
