Position
A2H is currently seeking a Specifications Writer in our Lakeland, TN office.
Responsibilities Include but are not limited to :
- Prepare project specifications
- Advise project teams as they write Schematic Design narratives
- Work with Project Managers in project meetings and other coordination efforts with firm clients and building owners
- Develop specifications from meetings as the project develops
- Review drawings and specifications to coordinate designations
- Enhance and maintain A2H master specifications within the Quality Assurance Department
- Reach out to local municipalities to understand current codes and standards related to material specifications
- Work with project teams and review architectural plans to prepare specifications
- Assist project teams in resolving problems related to the use and installation of building materials and products that arise during design and construction
- Convey a broad knowledge of building codes, structures, basic construction law and materials standards to others
- Stay current on product development, new materials, and industry trends
- Assist with quality control and quality assurance processes
