Staff Accountant
A2O Entertainment is a Global Culture and Technology Enterprise led by Producer Soo Man Lee, the founder of K-Pop (SM Entertainment).
Responsibilities:
- Reconciling accounts: Comparing financial records with bank statements to ensure accuracy and identify discrepancies
- Preparing financial reports: Creating financial reports and records
- Managing accounts: Managing accounts payable and receivable
- Preparing tax returns: Preparing tax documents and ensuring the company meets its tax obligations
- Maintaining ledgers: Maintaining general ledgers and accounts payable files
- Supporting the monthly close: Assisting with bank reconciliations, monthly depreciation, and updating inventory spreadsheets
- Managing client invoicing: Managing the purchasing and invoicing system
- Ensuring compliance: Ensuring the company complies with financial regulations and IRS rules
- Administrative duties: Responding to clients via email and handling invoices
- Communicating: Streamlining finance communications and writing and presenting reports to management
Requirements:
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities
- Excellent organizational and leadership skills
- Familiarity with office management procedures and basic accounting principles
- Excellent knowledge of MS Office and office management software (ERP etc.)
- Qualifications in secretarial studies will be an advantage
- High school diploma; BSc/BA in office administration or relevant field is preferred
- Bilingual in English and Korean
