Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Custodian to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for maintaining cleanliness and order in various facilities, ensuring a safe and welcoming environment for all occupants. This role requires a proactive approach to cleaning and maintenance tasks, with a focus on both industrial and commercial settings.

Duties

• Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming to maintain cleanliness in assigned areas.
• Ensure restrooms are clean, stocked, and well-maintained at all times.
• Manage waste disposal and recycling efforts in accordance with company policies.
• Provide custodial support during events or special activities as needed.
• Maintain inventory of cleaning supplies and report any shortages or equipment malfunctions.
• Collaborate with team members to uphold cleanliness standards across all facilities.

Qualifications

• Previous experience in industrial cleaning, commercial cleaning, or custodial services is preferred.
• Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing and maintenance of various flooring types but not needed we will train.
• Familiarity with facilities maintenance practices is a plus.
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow instructions effectively.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Physical stamina to perform manual labor tasks including lifting up to 30 pounds, standing for extended periods, and performing repetitive motions.
• A commitment to maintaining a clean and safe environment for all staff and visitors.

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $17.15 - $18.15 per hour

Expected hours: 5 – 30 per week
