Job Pay : $20.00 - $25.00 (DOE)

Job Location : El, Mirage

Job Schedule : Monday - Thursday, 3 : 30pm - 2 : 00am (OT on Friday's)

A2Z Staffing is currently hiring qualified candidates to manufacture stainless steel duct systems.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Under close supervision you'll be introduced to a series of duties and responsibilities with increasing complexity to include, but are not limited to the following :

Set up work area, select and verify the materials for production, and meet daily production and quality demands in such specific areas as : grinding, rolling, seam welding, flanging, tagging; shearing.
Measure, cut, bend, shape, and fasten thin pieces of sheet metal to specifications using tools and machines.
Use hand tools, electronic and manual equipment, and machinery to construct sheet metal into finished products.
Follow detailed assembly instructions and procedures safely and correctly.

Requirements :

POSITION REQUIREMENTS

1 year of experience with fabricating rectangular or round ducts

Knowledge of sheet metal layout (proper fittings), surface grinding and metallurgy

Willingness to learn the more complex aspects of the equipment operation involved within the round area and shear area.

Ability to read and understand work instructions, technical documents (cut sheets), safety policies, company policies and procedures.

Ability to apply basic math skills including adding and subtracting whole numbers and fractions.

Ability to accurately read a tape measure

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities.

Welding and grinding

Must be dependable, good attendance and be on time.

Must pass a 10 panel drug screen

Must pass a background check

Physical Requirements

Must be able to lift 50 lbs. continuously

Must have the ability to reach, feel, grasp, grip, carry, push, and pull.

Must be able to stand, bend and walk for 8 to 10 hours.

Must be able to wear steel toe boots

Must be able to work in a loud environment

Salary : $20 - $25
