What are the responsibilities and job description for the Wood Assembler position at A3 Solutions, Inc.?
What You’ll Be Doing :
- Build Various Sized Wooden Crates
- i.e., nail and staple guns, power drills, grinders, and hammers
- Use tape measure to ensure the measurements match the cut sheet up to 1 / 8th inch
- Safe ladder use required when assembling the tops (caps) of crates
- May need to assemble bases or skids for crates on the ground. This requires use of a 20 pound, 3.5-inch nail gun while crouching and / or kneeling
- Able to read, interpret, find, and document possible cut sheet and / or stenciling errors
- Use of adhesives to apply foam to wood crates and conduct specification checks
- Efficiently perform work according to standard operating procedures
