AV Technician

Support end users in the operation of A/V equipment in conference rooms and other facility spaces, including setting up and testing of A/V equipment before meetings and events.

Cable testing and replacement

System shutdowns and reboots

Error log collection and review

Troubleshoot A/V related issues to assess faults and root cause.

Complete hardware and software repairs of A/V equipment to correct faults, failures and defects. Support the client's processes for managing A/V equipment and issue reporting.

Advanced understanding of A/V equipment and systems, and the ability to perform advanced troubleshooting.

Ability to complete hardware and software repairs thoroughly and correctly using a wide of tools, meters and other equipment. Proficient with Windows OS and Office.

Demonstrated working knowledge of A/V practices and procedures.
Electronics repair experience, down to the component level.
Video conferencing experience including, operation, configuration, and troubleshooting.
Experience or familiarity with networking and other IT related technologies.
Experience and knowledge of web conferencing tools such as Cisco Webex, Poly Systems, Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom, etc. a plus.
CTS, CTS-I or other industry recognized certifications a plus.
