Process Engineer – Press
Overview
The Process Engineer – Press is responsible for developing, optimizing, and managing production methods within the metal stamping press department . This role involves evaluating and improving manufacturing processes to enhance efficiency, quality, and cost-effectiveness . The Process Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams, providing expertise at various design, development, and production stages while ensuring adherence to industry best practices and safety standards.
Key Responsibilities
Process Improvement & Optimization
- Review existing equipment, production methods, and assembly procedures to identify areas for efficiency improvements.
- Troubleshoot stamping and forming processes to resolve production issues.
- Develop and implement continuous improvement initiatives to enhance cycle time, quality, and cost reduction .
