Financial Reporting Analyst
Job Overview
This role supports the Department Manager in preparing, reviewing, and reporting financial data. It ensures the accurate and timely submission of monthly, quarterly, and supplementary reports for senior management and corporate review. The position requires strong analytical skills to evaluate general ledger transactions, reconcile accounts, and support financial statement accuracy.
Key Responsibilities
Month-End Close & Journal Entries
- Assist in the month-end close process, preparing journal entries and accruals to maintain accurate financial records.
- Reconcile inter-company transactions to ensure financial consistency across entities.
Financial Statement Analysis
- Review and analyze general ledger transactions to ensure accuracy and proper classification.
- Contribute to the detailed monthly variance analysis, comparing actual financial results to projections.
Inventory & Cost Management
- Support the calculation of inventory reserves and generate reports for inventory management.
- Assist in monitoring inventory levels and valuation to ensure proper reporting.
Compliance & Audit Support
- Prepare financial schedules and supporting documentation for internal audits.
- Ensure compliance with accounting policies and internal controls.
