A3 Technology, Inc. is seeking Program Support Specialists to join our Cybersecurity group. The Program Support Specialist will support the cybersecurity system Program Offices with operational management, documentation development and tracking.
This position is 100% onsite.
Responsibilities:
- Establish/maintain procedures with system Program Offices (PO) to ensure awareness of all system changes being proposed.
- Participate in the system configuration management process including applicable Configuration Control Boards (CCB).
- Assess system configuration changes for impact on security posture.
- Integrate system changes into the security Authorization process.
- Review system security authorization documentation to ensure completeness, accuracy and compliance.
- Maintain system security Authorization information in the Security Management Assessment and Reporting Tool (SMART).
- Create, track, update, validate and close system vulnerability remediation of Plan of Actions & Milestones (POA&M).
- Coordinate risk acceptance requests to include rationale and identification of compensating controls.
- Maintain system security POA&M information in SMART.
- Support the establishment and maintenance of Cybersecurity processes and documentation.
- Support and track funding reviews, briefings, meetings and planning.
- Verify FAA Cybersecurity Plan of Action and Milestones (POA&M) remediation and track all associated Cybersecurity remediation funding obtained under this effort.
- Ensure that privacy documentation delivery meets established schedules and/or deadlines.
- Assist in the tracking of all privacy documentation submittal to the FAA Privacy office and report any potential delay in the adjudication of the documents.
- Assist in the development of weekly report on PTA and privacy activities/status.
- Ensure that SSO and SOs are appraised of status of ongoing privacy actions and sensitive/controversial issues as they arise.
- Coordinate the gathering of and consolidate required information requested by the different data call requesters for submission.
- Provide status metrics on data calls completion or pending actions.
- Assist in the coordination of gathering information and consolidate the required information requested by the different auditor’s requester for submission.
- Review for completeness and accuracy of all audit responses and if required communicates/collaborates with SSO and SO to ensure responses are complete.
- Establish and maintain on-line data repositories and reference libraries of program documentation that are accessible by authorized stakeholders.
Skills Required:
- Experience writing and maintaining deliverables according to a prescribed schedule.
- Experience updating online systems with document revisions.
- Experience tracking security audit findings.
- Experience writing reports and presentations for audiences at variable technical levels.
- Experience with federal IT security rulesets such as NIST.
- Excellent written and communication skills.
- Excellent customer service and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated to take ownership of projects.
Skills Preferred:
- Certificate in a program management area (e.g. PMP).
- Certificate in an IT security area (e.g. CISSP, CISM).
- Experience working with a large organization (>35,000 customers).
- Experience collaborating with peer and client teams.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in any field and 6 years of IT program management experience.
Additionally, US Citizenship or documented proof of eligibility to work in the US is a must. Upon receiving a conditional offer of employment, candidates will undergo a Government investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for Government clearance. Verification of past employment, education and references is also required. It is imperative that candidates be either a US citizen or a current green card holder with the last 3 consecutive years as a resident of the US.
