AA Medical Solutions, Inc. is a locally owned and operated small business distributor based in Pensacola, FL. We rent, sell, and service durable medical equipment (DME) and supplies to patients who need orthopedic or post-surgical rehab products. We have several product lines that we distribute. Our patients have either had an orthopedic surgery, chronic issue, or have sustained an injury resulting in the need for our care and medical devices. We are seeking a qualified individual in Niceville, FL and the surrounding areas to assist with patient care including, equipment setup, patient education, servicing equipment, and the retrieval of rental equipment.
In this role, the PCR will work directly with patients to schedule DME delivery in order to instruct and educate patients and their care givers on equipment. From time to time the PCR will need to work with or coordinate care with physician's staff, hospital, or surgery center staff for patient care. The PCR will need to troubleshoot, pickup rental equipment, clean, test, and perform light service repairs on equipment. They will also be required to deliver equipment to hospitals, patient homes, and other facilities on a daily basis. This is a new position in our territory, so the opportunity to help us grow and develop this area is key.
Applicant must be self-motivated, enthusiastic, personable, dependable, and professional. Strong interpersonal communication skills, conflict resolution skills, and computer skills are a must. Candidate must also have a valid driver’s license. The position requires driving to service the city of Niceville, FL and the surrounding areas within a 2-hour radius.
Work experience in the medical industry is helpful but not required. Knowledge of human anatomy, DME and/or orthopedics is a plus. Certified Athletic Trainer or Certified Orthotic Fitter is a plus.
Physical Demands:
· Ability to walk, bend, stand and reach constantly during a workday
· Requires the ability to regularly lift and/or move 30lbs and occasionally lift and/or move more.
