Job Summary
We are seeking a part time Qualified Clinical Dietitian or Certified Diabetes Care and Education Specialist (CDCES) to join our clinical research team. The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing nutritional care to patients in clinical research settings. This position requires expertise in dietetics, health coaching, and the ability to develop personalized care plans that promote optimal health outcomes. Weekly hours depends on clinical research patients (as needed)
Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive nutritional assessments and diagnostic evaluations for patients.
- Develop, implement, and monitor individualized care plans tailored to meet the specific dietary needs of patients.
- Provide education and counseling on nutrition-related topics, including weight loss strategies and healthy eating habits.
- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure integrated patient care across various departments.
- Stay current with advancements in dietetics and nutrition science to provide evidence-based recommendations.
- Document patient progress and outcomes accurately in compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient care strategies.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Dietetics or a related field; Registered Dietitian Nutritionist (RDN) credential preferred.
- At least one year of experience in clinical dietitian.
- Strong knowledge of dietary systems, nutritional guidelines, and health coaching techniques.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to educate diverse patient populations effectively.
- Proficiency in developing and implementing dietary interventions based on individual patient needs.
- Ability to work collaboratively within a multidisciplinary team environment.
- Commitment to ongoing professional development in the field of nutrition and dietetics.
