AAA Club Alliance is seeking a Staff Accountant ll to join our team! The Staff Accountant ll is responsible for ensuring accuracy, reasonableness and conformance with established procedures, company practice and related departmental requirements in the recording and reporting of financial information with defined deadlines. This position is also responsible for recording and analyzing financial information and making appropriate inquiries of operations to obtain a broad understanding of the nature of the financial activity.

What You'll Do:
Records, analyzes and reports financial information and makes appropriate inquiries of operations to obtain a broad understanding of the nature of the financial activity.
Actively participates with other internal departments to ensure that accounting issues are addressed in a timely manner.
Prepares various accounting entries and reports monthly.
Applies analytical thinking to current processes and researches unusual items.
Recommends changes in methods and procedures to improve efficiency.
Documents accounting treatment for new processes.
Completes special assignments entailing high levels of confidentiality, integrity, and quality for the AAA Club Alliance as assigned.
Maintains knowledge of industry’s development of standards, e.g., GAAP, IFRS, etc., and communicates the impact of these changes to the supervisor.
Provides interim and annual audit assistance as needed.
Other duties as assigned.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting.
2 – 3 years’ accounting experience in a corporate accounting environment (accounts receivable, cash, and accounts payable accounts).
Ability to work with minimal supervision within stringent deadlines while applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles.
Strong Excel experience
Ability to apply analytical and inductive thinking to improve current processes.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills required, including the ability to effectively interact with all levels of management within the organization.
Demonstrates accurate numerical ability and high-attention to detail.
