Your Role : The Senior Visual UX Designer will collaborate closely with our UX team, including product designers, researchers, and content specialists, as well as our product and development partners. We are looking for self-driven individuals with a keen eye for detail and a commitment to high-quality work. Proficiency in Figma and mastery of UI libraries and components are essential.

Your work :

Create high-fidelity flows and experiences that are elegant, thoughtful, simple, and intuitive.
Advocate and promote modern UI design standards and practices.
Demonstrate a sharp eye for style defects, hierarchy, composition, typefaces, color palettes, and consistency.
Apply W3C / ADA web and mobile accessibility standards to our experiences and interfaces.
Present and deliver on multiple projects with some oversight.
Figma library management and versioning.
Demonstrate maturity in communication and execution in a virtual setting, collaborating with multiple teams across time zones.
Mentor associate and mid-level UX designers on visual design principles.
Exhibit versatility and occasionally contribute to branding or other creative projects.

Required Experience, Education and Skills

10 years of hands-on UX design experience working on shippable products, including mobile / web applications and responsive websites.

Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts, Design, a related discipline, or equivalent practical experience.

A strategic perspective about product design and development.

Experience on teams that have created new products as well as improved existing ones.

Substantial experience developing consumer and / or commercial web application interfaces and mobile experiences.

Solid understanding of the best practices and tools used in user-centered interaction design.

Deep experience with best-in-class UX patterns and inherent knowledge of the types of UI variants used to support those patterns.

An intuition for what makes a good user experience.

Experience creating a variety of UX documents and an understanding of when / if they should be used.

A collaborative spirit and a desire to work as a team player.

A great online portfolio showcasing your thought process and measurable results.

What would make us excited about you?

Experience usability testing your ideas (preferred)

HTML / CSS / JS knowledge (preferred)

Experience within an Agile (Scrum) development team (preferred)

Actively shapes our company culture (e.g., participating in employee resource groups, volunteering, etc.)

Lives into cultural norms (e.g., willing to have cameras when it matters).

Travels as needed for role, including divisional / team meetings.

Fulfills business needs, which may include investing extra time, helping other teams, etc.

The national average salary range for this position is $116,000-$129,000. The full salary range for this position across all the states we hire in is $105,000-$155,000.

Must have authorization to work indefinitely in the US.

Please note we are hiring for this role remote anywhere in the United States with the following exceptions : Hawaii and Alaska.
