Job Overview:

AAA Fabrication is seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Metal Fabrication Estimator to join our team in Kemp, TX. This role is critical in generating accurate cost estimates for fabricated metal parts and components, ensuring competitive and profitable pricing for our customers. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in metal fabrication estimating, a strong understanding of manufacturing processes, and the ability to interpret blueprints and technical drawings.

Key Responsibilities:

• Analyze engineering drawings, specifications, and customer requirements to develop accurate cost estimates.
• Determine material costs, labor hours, and production expenses to create competitive pricing.
• Work closely with engineering, production, and sales teams to ensure accurate quoting.
• Source and evaluate material and subcontractor costs to optimize pricing and lead times.
• Prepare and submit detailed quotations and proposals in a timely manner.
• Identify potential cost-saving opportunities while maintaining quality and compliance standards.
• Maintain records of estimates, past quotes, and job cost data for future reference.
• Communicate with customers to clarify project requirements and provide technical guidance.
• Stay up to date with industry trends, material costs, and fabrication processes to enhance estimating accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Minimum 10 years of experience in estimating industrial and precision metal fabrication.
• Strong understanding of fabrication processes, materials, and production workflows.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and blueprints.
• Experience using estimating software or ERP systems is a plus.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
• Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $80,000.00 - $110,000.00 per year
