Community Outreach Director

Overview
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Community Director to lead our initiatives aimed at fostering community engagement and support. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and have the ability to follow-through on bigger projects. We are looking for someone who has experience with the Medicaid Waiver and BDS.

This role involves collaborating with local organizations to enhance our outreach efforts.

Responsibilities

• Work with case management organizations, behavioralists, guardians, and other team members to ensure intake is completed properly.
• Develop and implement community programs that address local needs and promote engagement.
• Manage social media platforms to effectively communicate program updates and community events.
• Supervise staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support to ensure successful program execution.
• Collaborate with local organizations to market programs and expand outreach efforts.
• Oversee project management tasks, ensuring timely completion of initiatives.
• Provide support as needed, connecting individuals with appropriate resources.
• Develop training materials for staff, enhancing their skills in program delivery.

Experience

• Experience with Medicaid Waivers and BDS is necessary, specifically the transition process.
• Experience in social media management.
• Strong project management skills with a track record of successful program development and execution.
• Experience supervising teams is highly desirable.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 - $30.00 per hour
