Business Summary:
The Accreditation Analyst assists affiliated Clubs in achieving operating efficiencies, fiscal soundness, and compliance with AAA/CAA Standards and accreditation criteria. This position supports department leadership in meeting department goals, evaluates club compliance with Association Bylaws and Standards, and prepares detailed reports and recommendations for senior management and the Accreditation Commission. This position also develops and updates compliance policies, conducts financial and operational analyses, troubleshoots compliance issues, and manages various projects. Additionally, the Analyst provides compliance findings to support Commission meetings and acts as a liaison to Clubs during the five-year accreditation process.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Assesses Clubs’ compliance with Association Standards, Bylaws, and other AAA Board-approved rules, guidelines, and regulations.
- Prepares reports and recommendations to senior management, including Club executives and the Accreditation Commission.
- Supports department leadership in achieving department goals and works cross-functionally with other departments to improve business processes and overall efficiency.
- Evaluate and ensure Club compliance with internal operational, procedural, and financial standards, and present findings to senior management.
- Develops and updates compliance policies, collaborates with stakeholders to address non-compliance issues, and prepares concise, detailed financial and operational assessments and reports.
- Using Club audited financial statement data, compiles financial analysis and compliance recommendations for Accreditation Commission and executive meetings.
- Completes data audit/quality assurance of AAA Club audited financial database for corporate compliance and Accreditation Commission and CFO performance reporting purposes.
- Leads system and report enhancement efforts.
- Organizes and co-hosts Club briefings/webinars.
- Administers the MS SharePoint workspaces for each Club undergoing full accreditation review.
- Oversee the Standards administration and support sites on Atlas.
- Administer and support the Annual Club Awards Program.
- Serves as liaison for AAA Clubs going through the Accreditation cycle, guiding work to ensure thorough, timely filing of renewal applications, assessments, and recommendations.
- Ensures accuracy and completeness of Club accreditation and related online support sites for Club and Commission research purposes.
- Conducts precedent and project research using DocuWare.
- Working with Information Technology and the Corporate Secretary's office, leads technology projects to improve governance data access and department efficiency.
- Oversees critical Club and AAA, Inc. data systems (e.g., Tableau, Qualtrics, Club Financial Information System).

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in business or accounting with two (2) to four (4) years of professional business experience in accounting, financial analysis, or a business-related field.
- Knowledge and experience with generally accepted accounting principles (GAAP) is preferred.
- Experience with Board Vantage and business intelligence cloud applications (Qualtrics, Tableau) is preferred, as well as experience in business systems development.
Hiring Range: $ 58,000 to $68,000
This position is eligible for participation in the AAA, Inc. Annual Incentive Plan.
