The Senior Digital Marketing Analyst is responsible for developing, launching, managing, and optimizing online programs including SEM, programming, remarketing, social media, video advertising, and other digital paid advertising campaigns using in-house and agency services. This position provides custom analysis and insight to ensure the continued success of marketing programs, evaluates new opportunities to maximize growth of the online channel, and consults with clubs, partners, and executive management to develop new digital marketing strategies and tactics. This position also collaborates with cross-functional teams to ensure campaign alignment with overall business goals.
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Designs, develops, launches, and manages paid digital campaigns across digital channels search engine marketing, social media, and other programmatic platforms.
- Responsible for attaining marketing objectives (i.e., click-through rates (CTR), conversion, cost per acquisition (CPA), return on investment and revenue targets).
- Monitors and optimizes paid digital advertising campaigns for performance improvements.
- Uses data insights to adjust bidding strategies, creatives, and targeting to meet KPIs such as ROAS, CPC, and CPA.
- Allocates and manages large budgets across multiple digital channels to maximize ROI.
- Assists in preparing budget audit and forecasts for Digital Marketing budget, allocation, profit, and loss.
- Prepares and presents detailed reports using Excel, PowerPoint, and other analytical tools.
- Monitors competitor actions in the marketplace and identifies areas for competitive advancement.
- Provides digital marketing expertise, evaluations, and recommendations to clients including AAA/CAA Clubs,
- Partners, Business Lines, and Associations teams.
- Share trends and changes in the Digital Marketing industry to ensure the latest strategies and tactics are offered to clients.
- Prepares recommendations and insight related to strategic digital marketing campaign development and performance.
- Assists in preparing competitive assessments and analysis for senior leadership, conferences, QBR and other events.
- Collects and shares best practices through white papers, webinars, and client meetings.
- Serves as liaison with partner vendors, e.g., digital marketing agency, media publishers (Google, Microsoft, META).
Requirements, Competencies and Certifications:
- Advanced experience with media buying platforms (DV 360,Google, Bing, META, Trade desk), analytics tools (Adobe, G4), and marketing software.
- Advanced experience with Tag Manager to embed and test tracking pixels, conversion tags, and event triggers for data collection.
- Experience with campaign dashboard creation and data ingestion utilizing tools like Looker Studio, Tableau, Supermetrics, and Liveramp.
- Basic HTML5, JavaScript for campaign, tagging, and web troubleshooting.
- Advanced knowledge of Excel for data analysis, reporting, and budget management.
- PowerPoint skills are required to present campaign insights and performance summaries.
- Access database knowledge is a plus for advanced data management.
- The ability to interpret complex data sets and convert them into actionable insights that drive campaign success.
- Maintains deep understanding of the trends and changes in the Digital Marketing arena.
- Openly shares and solicits ideas through dialogue; is clear about intentions.
- Use time effectively. Anticipates obstacles, adjusts priorities as needs change, and keeps others informed of progress.

- Proficient in Microsoft Office, Access, and Excel (including Cross cell, file referencing, pivot tables, visual graphs and trending data).

- Strong time management and organizational skills.
Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in marketing or related field and five (5) or more years’ experience managing paid digital marketing campaigns. Google AdWords Certification required.
- Deep knowledge of SEM marketing tools including Yahoo Search Marketing and Bing/MSN Ad Center, Google Analytics, and bid-optimization software.
- Experience in web analytics, landing page optimization, and Search Engine Optimization (SEO).
Hiring Range: $67,750 to $84,010
This position is also eligible for participation in AAA, Inc.'s Annual Incentive Plan.
