Business Summary:
The Senior System Tech Analyst installs, configures, and administers Microsoft servers, Virtual systems, storage, and backup infrastructure. This position performs a full range of maintenance and support functions on multiple hardware platforms relating to operating systems software and is responsible for providing regular updates to the Manager, Enterprise IT Infrastructure Services on critical IT operations. The Senior Systems Tech Analyst functions as a subject matter expert for highly complex projects that have a high corporate impact and provides technical expertise and guidance to team members on new and current infrastructure.
Duties & Responsibilities
- Evaluates, develops, installs, patches, tests, integrates, and maintains Microsoft operating system software and related applications.
- Provides expertise in cutting-edge technologies, assessing their applicability to the organization’s mission and operational goals.
- Determines product usability and identifies strategies to maximize its adoption and effectiveness.
- Designs and oversees implementation processes, including coordinating training initiatives.
- Collaborates with vendors to implement and support infrastructure systems that align with AAA’s objectives.
- Identifies, analyzes, and defines information requirements and performance criteria to evaluate security risks associated with systems and storage infrastructure; prepares detailed reports for management review.
- Coordinates the development of comprehensive system test criteria and test plans for various levels of operating system testing.
- Maintains technical proficiency in systems analysis through formal training, seminars, relevant publications, and self-directed learning.
- Guides the Manager of Enterprise IT Infrastructure Services before change control meetings.
- Exercises autonomy in making work-related changes within a limited scope.
Requirements, Competencies, and Certifications:

Education & Experience:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science or related field and five (5) to seven (7) years of related work experience.
- Strong experience in Microsoft technology including Windows Server Administration, AD, DNS, Exchange, O365, SharePoint, Power BI, VDIs, Certificate management, federation services (OKTA preferred), Radius, Patching, Monitoring, and upgrades.
- Extensive enterprise experience managing VMware virtualization environment, Storage Area Network, Backups, and File system required.
- Preferred VMware certification, Azure/Cloud certification.
Hiring Range: $92,280 - $116,000
This position is also eligible for participation in the AAA, Inc. Annual Incentive Plan.
