Overview
The Quality Assurance Lead will lead and assist QA team members to ensure test resources are utilized effectively. Mentor team members on testing activities/processes.
Responsibilities
Provide training opportunities and regular feedback to QA team members. Lead, facilitate, track, and coordinate testing efforts for all testing phases. Ensure appropriate level of testing has been identified through Risk Based Testing approach. Define scope, execution plans, and coordinate all UAT test activities. Collaborate with Project Manager to schedule tasks and ensure business participation. Create high-level test plans and complete QA-related documentation. Prioritize test conditions and deliverables. Lead development and implementation of QA processes and tools. Participate in Deployment Planning sessions and ensure deployment checklist activities are completed. Document defects found during test execution and track through resolution.
Qualifications
Requires Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Electronics Engineering and five years of experience as a Quality Assurance Analyst. Experience must include: performing software quality assurance testing, testing web service API calls, querying databases using SQL Management Studio, conducting defect management, and use of SOAP UI and Java. Headquarters (HQ) in Livonia, MI; telecommuting permitted 3x/week.
