Shift:
- Mon-Fri: 1st shift (hours flexibility between 7am and 5pm)
- Tues-Sat: 1st shift (hours flexibility between 7am and 5pm)
What You'll Do:
- Lead and support the roadside towing team - Supervise fleet technicians, provide coaching, conduct performance reviews, and ensure top-tier service delivery
- Optimize Operations - Monitor dispatch and truck data, oversee vehicle assignments, and maintain operational efficiency
- Enhance Communications and Training - Assist with training new hires, support contractor networks, and ensure technicians follow system guidelines
- Ensure Safety and Compliance - Maintain a safety-focused culture, enforce policies, and provide guidance to ensure smooth, legal and efficient operations
- Coordinate Service Excellence - Work closely with dispatch, vendors, and technicians to maintain exceptional customer satisfaction
- When necessary, operate a tow truck or light service vehicle to perform jump-starts, tire changes, lockout services, fuel delivery, battery installation, towing and winching
QUALIFICATIONS:
- A valid MN driver's license with a clean driving record
- High School diploma or GED
- Light and or Heavy-duty towing experience
- Proven experience in logistics, coordination, demonstrating the ability to manage and optimize operations effectively
- Strong problem-solving and decision making skills, ability to troubleshoot and respond to challenges in real time
- Excellent interpersonal skills, with a demonstrated ability to lead teams, communicate clearly, and build effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
OTHER REQUIREMENTS:
- Strong mechanical aptitude with the ability to understand, use and maintain tools and machinery
- Demonstrates reliability and a strong work ethic, ensuring tasks are completed on time and in accordance with set goals and expectations.
- Strong oral and written communication abilities with the ability to actively listen, convey information clearly, and understand others' needs and concerns.
- Ability to identify and resolve problems efficiently, gather and analyze information, and make informed decisions in a timely manner.
Work Environment & Schedule:
This job may involve working outdoors in different weather conditions, driving for extended periods, and occasionally performing physical tasks like lifting and bending. Flexibility with scheduling, including nights, weekends and holidays may be required.
