Full-time Dispatcher Position
AAA North Penn is seeking a full-time Dispatcher in our Emergency Road Service Department in Scranton. This is an in-person position for the second shift, 4pm to 12am, and will require weekend coverage.
The role of the Dispatcher is to provide exceptional service to our members following up and verifying call information and keeping the member informed of ETAs and other changes regarding their call.
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Ability to learn quickly and exhibit initiative in performing daily job duties.
- Answers incoming member inquiries.
- Able to adapt to changing processes and procedures.
- Ability to collaborate and work effectively in a team environment.
- Demonstrates good decision-making skills.
- Processes service requests by clarifying information and inputting service request details.
Job Requirements:
The Agent must possess the following knowledge, skills, abilities and personal characteristics:
Strong keyboard and computer skills
Good interpersonal, communication and telephone skills
Ability to prioritize and make timely decisions
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Experience:
- Must have 1 year of Customer Service experience
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to sit for extended periods of time
