As part of our commitment to excellence and maintaining the highest standards of financial and operational integrity, we are seeking a skilled and motivated Internal Auditor to join our team. This role will focus on IT projects and controls, assessing and evaluating the effectiveness of our technology initiatives, IT control environment, and safeguarding our digital assets, while supporting the Internal Audit team in department projects, integrated audits, and initiatives Club-wide to drive continuous improvement. This role will collaborate closely with cross-functional teams to assess the implementation and effectiveness of processes, controls, and security measures. Successful candidate will have prior experience and knowledge in both information technology and executing integrated audits.
What you will do:

Assist in executing assigned audit projects on the Audit Plan to focus on key Club-wide controls. Assist in developing and creating audit programs for projects. Perform and document walkthroughs and narratives of the various business lines, to identify risks, key controls, and evaluate the adequacy of internal controls, policies and established procedures. Assist in designing and executing test procedures to evaluate the design and operating effectiveness of internal controls, and perform substantive audit procedures. Summarize potential findings and develop related recommendations to drive continuous improvement. Effectively monitor and communicate the status of assigned projects, including the identification of potential control weaknesses, risk exposures, inappropriate activity, and negative cost trends, as identified during the audit process.

Assist in preparing audit project reports for Executive and Business Line Management, highlighting control weaknesses, misappropriation of assets, non-compliance with certain regulatory compliance requirements, and areas of redundancy or inefficiency. Provide recommendations to establish and/or modify existing internal controls to achieve a strong internal control environment, with the assistance from Internal Audit Management. Ensure corrective actions provided by Business Line Management address the identified finding and mitigates the related risk.

Perform branch audits and execute all phases of the audit from planning to reporting, evaluating individual branch compliance with controls over cash processing, safeguarding of Club assets, and other applicable policies and procedures. Maintain and update the branch audit program. Provide recommendations to further improve and/or enhance controls within the branches. Periodically, provide training presentation to Branch Management. Assist in the review of branch audits completed by the Internal Auditor I and the Internal Auditor II. Provide review comments and provide training as deemed necessary.

Monitor the status of corrective actions to ensure they have been implemented to strengthen the internal control environment. Follow-up on any past due corrective actions. Partner with other Internal Audit team members to develop, implement and review ongoing audit analytic reports.

Assist Internal Audit Management in reviewing workpapers prepared by the Internal Auditor I and Internal Auditor II. Assist with training Internal Auditor I and Internal Auditor II.
Qualifications
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance, Computer Information Systems, Information Technology or related field required.
Experience
- 3 years Internal Audit experience required, or
- 4 years Public Accounting firm experience required,
- 2 to 5 years performing operational, financial, and compliance audits, including the testing of internal controls and conducting physical inventories required, or
- 2 to 5 years performing IT audits and integrated audits preferred
- 2 to 5 years demonstrated experience preparing audit programs, narratives of business line processes, risk matrices, finding summaries and reports required
Licenses and Certifications
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
- Certified Internal Auditor (CIA) preferred
- Certified Fraud Examiner (CFE) preferred
- Certified Information Systems Auditor (CISA) preferred
