What are the responsibilities and job description for the Part-time Self Storage Property Maintenance position at AAA STORAGE?
Schedule Hours Per Week: 5hrs / Totally flexible
Visit the property and perform the required work at least three times a week for up to 5 hours a week.
Pay: $20 per hour (self employed 1099 contract employee), paid once per month
We are seeking a part-time maintenance person for 2 self storage locations in South Salt Lake.
Applicant must be able to do the following items:
- Pick up trash and debris and dispose of trash
- Clean units to be ready to rent for new customers.
- Walk through of facility/security check
- Putting on overlocks to units that are late
- Safely ascend a short step ladder and reach and wipe items above your head or below your knees
- Perform minor mechanical repairs (hammer, screw, glue, etc)
- Work outdoors in hot or cold weather conditions
- Mix chemicals and spray weed and/or bug killer
- Lift up to 50 pounds
- Operate small hand and power tools, including gas engine leaf blower, string trimmer, snow blower, etc.
- Effectively receive instructions and report results via phone or e-mail, and Google Docs.
Hours are flexible and can be done almost any time of the day or night or any day of the week.
